มาตรฐานนี้เหมาะสมที่จะใช้กับการจัดประสานอุปกรณ์วงจรควบคุมเดี่ยวเข้ากับตัวตัดต่อวงจรที่รับส่งข้อมูลและกำลัังไฟฟ้าระหว่างกันด้วยสายเคเบิลเดี่ยวชนิด 2 ลวดตัวนำซึ่งไม่มีกำลังและไม่ตีเกลียวแกน
Applies to interface between low-voltage switchgear and controlgear switching elements, and controllers. This standard specifies a bit-oriented interface-system between a single control
circuit device and switching elements, connected by a nonshielded, untwisted two-wire cables,
carrying data and power, and establishes a system for the interchangeability of components with such interfaces.
