- มอก.896-2532 ยกเลิกและกำหนด มอก.896-2549 ให้มีผลนับตั้งแต่วันที่ประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา (20 เม.ย. 2550)
- มอก.896-2549 ยกเลิกและกำหนด มอก.896-2560 ให้มีผลเพื่อพ้นกำหนด 30 วัน นับตั้งแต่วันที่ประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา (27 ธ.ค. 2562)
มาตรฐานนี้กำหนดความแข็งแรงของที่นั่ง จุดยึดที่นั่ง และพนักพิงศีรษะ สำหรับยานยนต์ประเภท M1 และ N รวมถึงรถประเภท M2 และ M3 รวมถึงการออกแบบส่วนหลังของพนักพิง และอุปกรณ์ป้องกันอันตรายที่จะเกิดกับผู้โดยสารจากการเคลื่อนที่ของสัมภาระในการชนด้านหน้า สำหรับยานยนต์ประเภท M1 ยกเว้นที่นั่ง แบบพับได้ หรือ ที่นั่ง หันหน้าด้านข้างหรือหันหลัง หรือ พนักพิงศีรษะที่ติดตั้งอยู่กับที่นั่งเหล่านี้
This standard applies to Vehicles of categories M1 and N with regard to the strength of seats and their anchorages
and with regard to their head restraints; Vehicles of categories M2 and M3 in respect of the strength of seats and their anchorages, and in respect of their head restraints; as for Vehicles of category M1 with regard to the design of the rear parts of seat backs and the
design of devices intended to protect the occupants from the danger resulting from the displacement of luggage in a frontal impact.
